Since pogz has filed a complain, I shall now blog about my 21st birthday!

The brother has been going on and on about this place known as Lookout Point, Hulu Langat after he got back home from that said place on Valentine’s Day. So that’s the reason why I’ve chosen to celebrate my birthday there.
And no, Weng Hoe isn’t strong. I’m just light
Since I’ve uploaded these pictures into photobucket last week… letak je la

and then some of us went up to the tower for some apparently ‘better’ view.

I have never liked mixing different groups of friends together. And I don’t know why I never bother dressing up on my birthday (which I’ll regret later on).
So yea, on the eve, I had a bbq party over at my place with the high school friends.
And it’s just superduperly great that even though we barely keep in touch with each other, we are still as close (if not closer) as when we were 4 years back then.

Coincidentally, my birthday falls on election day!
Seriously, it would be awesome to be able to vote!
But it doesn’t matter, because I worked as a polling agent in some school located in PJ with Yun and Shun.
So, the day started when we were dragged by my mum at 7 in the morning although our shift was from 10 till 12pm. And in that 3 hours of free time, we goyang kaki in the coffee shop, helped out the pink penguins with their registration for 5 minutes, took some Barisan National freebies, tried to decorate my car with BN and DAP flags, gossip, tried sleeping, read newspaper and continue gossiping again.

At 10am, we were brought into the school ground by Uncle Chong, with us wearing some SPR passes.
I was in charged of the room which accommodates voters of 60-75 years of age. Basically, my job is just to cancel off people’s name from the list I’ve been given to and report the total number of voters later on. Super easy somemore can talk to my partner and sms Yun and Shun who were in the other rooms.
Anyway, quite a number of the elderlies came to vote with their grandchildren (as shown in the picture above), walking sticks, wheelchair, maids yada yada, hoping to make a change for this country and I was really touched by them.
How I know they were voting for a change, you may ask. Because these elderlies didn’t have the strength to fold the ballot properly and their choices were disclosed clearly since they were dropping it into the transparent ballot boxes.
It’s nice to see how (almost) everyone is moving towards the same goal regardless of their race e.g. non-Chinese voted for DAP. But I’m still with my stand that people should vote based on that person who is running and not the party he or she is representing. (yala yala i’m still emoing about the lost of leehwabeng to gwoburneloh dsh)
By the looks of how problems have already occured with the swearing of Menteri Besar, we should pray that it doesn’t get worst than it has gotten.
Whatever it is, congrats Malaysia for denying BN’s 2/3 majority and let us hope this is really for the better

Wee! More cupcakes. This time they are from Cheese.

Yups. 2/3 of my cakes are from cuppacakes. What coincident! Really pretty albeit too sweet for my liking.
And since Choon May and I both share the same birthday and it was Ronnie’s birthday, we decided to all blow the cake!

So there you go, my 21st birthday
And the presents are really lovely especially the cards. Love you all <3

Lou sang recognises no season.
Yee sang courtesy of Joyce. Maybe TCC is suffering from some kind of Chinese New Year abstinence syndrome.
Then, some of us went to join our fellow coursemates to surprise Kah Peng on his 22nd birthday.
The wait-ees.

People got bored after awhile and started feeling horny.
There was actually a die which shows 6 different sex position. So, they were just demonstrating one of them la.

And here’s Kah Peng, one of the nicest and smartest guy in class.

It’s a good thing the cake was meant to be eaten. Cake on people no more.
“I will remember who has taken my virginity.” lol
Jiggle jingly bells
December, the month of Christmas.
Lit up Christmas lights, addictive Christmas songs and beautiful decoration set-ups (seriously, it’s like some sort of who-has-the-best-christmas-decors-competition between the major shopping malls); definitely hard not to get one into the festive mood.
As usual, christmas celebration kicks off early with a party in Nottingham.
Guess who’s back, back again?
Spice Girls Chocolate Sundae is back and rocking it harder than before~!
Technical stuff I may not know but boy was it an enjoyable performance.

We both left our beloved antlers behind.

I was pushed by Ren Yii to play a stupid game where you are supposed to dress up one of your team member as …

…a Christmas tree. Kohilan looks like a chicken to me though
The dudes from Seafield came too.

Potential clubbing area with pretty lights.
We also have our very own sound & lighting masters.
The final group picture to end the night.
Next up are celebrations in the gym. Twice in Jaya33 and twice in Taipan.

Launch Day 1 at Jaya33. Since I went there straight from Semenyih and there weren’t any white/red/green sports clothing over there, I had to wear a pants which was threatening to burst during those lunges.

This is body pump. Only 4kgs *shy*. The woman on my right had 15 kgs wei. We shall not even mention anything about the men.

I so can’t do combat. Tak macam fighter langsung dei. Just to let you know, I’ve changed my pants.

Launch Day 2. Alex and I. sweat = exercise *cough* Some more only 30 minutes of Jam class
Have yet to get pictures from the ones taken at Taipan. Shun and I went full gear with christmas colours and santa hats.
We also went Coffee Bean to (you’ll find out soon enough)…

Moving on, Sunway.

Visit Malaysia 2007. KK and I fought and we stopped talking to each other ever since.
On Christmas Eve, we’ve decided to celebrate at (Alfred, help me out with this will ya?). RM69 to stuff ourselves silly. I don’t even know if it’s worth it or not. Buffets are like pay-to-suffer-thingy. Stupid weighing machine has to break down right now so I have no idea how much I’ve gained.

While waiting for the rest. It hurts not being able to eat the food right in front of you.

That’s the santa headgear I’ve bought to substitute my antlers!
Timer power.

Choice of dessert: Anything with a cute figurine on top!

Then, drown figurines one at a time to avoid unwanted attention.
Finally, nonchalantly throw it into the nearest bag and run.
We also had a mini gift-exchange session where we needed to guess who is the giver/sender.
Woots!!! We know each other so well that all managed to guess correctly!
p.s. I shall put full blame on the salesgirl in Mid Valley who was in charged of taking out the price tag before wrapping the gift. BleghX.
For saddist like us who still have a curfew to follow, we didn’t really have much choices for our countdown venue.

On the way to our countdown destination which we have no idea off.
Ended up in good ol’ Summit. And surprisingly one of the bar there was packed to the brim. The other, Bar One was filled with uncles and aunties. So it’s Starbucks for the countdown.

Dividing the 10 figurines we’ve taken. This coming from a bunch of young adults.
At home,

The siblings and I entertained ourselves with our chosen-by-us-paid-by-parents-wrapped-by-us-presents hardeehar. It’s like wrapping random buys during the weekend and oh wow wee we have christmas gifts wtf.
There was also once where my brother made me pissed so I just wrapped a bunch of stones collected from the street outside and yea, he cried the moment he saw it hohoho.

All the way from UK from Lynn & Soo. I miss you both. It has been a long long time since the 6 of us went out together.

Here’s one from Mr Cheah. His creativity level just keeps increasing. Thank you (although you did not get me the things I’ve requested haha)

Alfred with his headbands. Thanks for not knowing which brand I prefer. At least now I have two headbands ![]()
And your bear actually very pweety la

Souvenir from Aunty Yun who just came back from a holiday. But since it was given on Christmas Eve, shall just treat it as a Christmas gift as well.

A cup from my aunt.

Finally…

Oh my oh my. Another FINALLY…Nike Shox Q’Vida with spinnable rubber which has a medial pivot point for turning (that’s what they say la). I’mma bring it out this Friday!!!
Happy New Year (since I’m late for Christmas and Boxing day) my dear kawan-kawan sekalian
WARNING
Joyce’s 21st Birthday @ Relish, KL (21st Nov)
![]()

Yups! As shown by the sub-title and picture, it was Mama Joyce’s birthday! One week ago only. So it still isn’t thaattt late to wish her Happy Belated Birthday now.
Although there were some unpredicted-not-so-very-happy-stuff came along the way, we managed to brave through all those shity emotional imbalance and have a blast at the party which was held in Relish, KL.
Being the usual procrastinators and indecisive bunch, we adjourned to KL slightly earlier to get Joyce’s present from Sungei Wang. And not to forget my beloved J.Co donuts from Pavillion <3
That’s Joyce’s hair curler cum straightener Weng Hoe is holding. Oh somehow we managed to get lost in Sungei Wang and err end of story wtf. Don’t ask me why we were in a clothes shop.
It was my first time in Pavillion and there are actually affordable shops around. No pictures in J.Co because Sue Ann refused to layan me T_T.

Here’s one with the birthday girl. Faster go visit her blog! I’m just going to show you pictures from here onwards.

Drinking session @ Quek’s Place (22nd Nov)
Since I was feeling a lil down that night, decided to down my sorrows till 7 in the morning. Luckily I’m one who can’t have a proper sleep after drinking if not I would have missed my meeting which was at 10am. Championnya aku!
Anyway it was just a small group which consists of Quek, Ren Yii, McKitt, Yao Bang, Weng Phoon, Heng Wen and yours truly. With at least 5 different types of alcohols and whole lot of reflex games, it was a night filled with ass-spanking, kisses, laughters and tears.
Oh, Quek and mckitt’s dogs were there too and they made me kiss one of their ass which actually smelt quite good wtf.
I’ve been told to not post up any pictures or videos so too bad. ![]()
You Jing’s 21st Birthday (23rd Nov)
You Jing, my damn smart coursemate whom I only get to see outside Nottingham because he never goes for classes, held a birthday party in his parents’ shop located in TTDI.
I love house parties!

It’s You Jing we are talking about so it’s going to be weird without these around.

As you can see, I’m all covered up due to allergic reaction to alcohol from the night before. But KC still wouldn’t let me off the hook (correct usage ke?). Driving home didn’t seem to be a valid excuse too

Can you see the huge ass cards? Love it.

Here are the Notts’ crew

Sending Lauren back to her car.
Next up was mahjong session.
There was this game where KC, You Jing and I were playing, and out of the sudden both YJ and mua miraculously have an extra tile each wtf. How can right? So drink we must *sulks*
Anyway, the next day KC explained to us how it happened and it was so funny how stupid we can be. Apparently for my case, I accidentally took one of KC’s tile when I recollected my fallen tiles which I’ve pushed. So at the state both YJ and I were in, it was easy for him to steal another tile from the middle pile. As for YJ, he smartly took another tile after his pong.

See! I still can take nice pictures! And JJ is holding my car keys.

Here’s my ’tai seong kong’ kaki. At least he managed to win some moolah on the poker table.
Paintball @ Hulu Kelang (24th Nov)
Here’s a tribute to my first time!
What made paintball even more fun were the location (get to play in woods k!) and the lack of safety guards.
However, it was nothing like what our UK friends have experienced.

Here’s our team. Against Quek’s sister’s team.
Before going into the real thing, we first played at some open area with random located air pillows thingamajig where we were separated into 3 teams.

Team A

Team B

Team C

With 6 people to a team, this one person did NOT kill 2 of his/her team members rofl =X
“yenli, damn bad lar you
why don’t cover up for your friend??
and who is “that person”. seems like she’s a very fun+nice+interesting person. lol”

The only party pooper who didn’t want paint on her face

The whole group

Cheers to the end of our game! A very good one indeed!

Even got shot in the head. The pain lasted for few days k T_T
Have been showing off my bruises too because I’m so damn proud of it. Hahaha.

Before and after the game @ Steven’s Corner with our all time favourite roti cheese telur & teh ‘o’ ais limau.
Thanks to Lauren and I, everyone now *heart* roti cheese telur!
Even Daniel Faulkner said it’s nice!!!
<333
A month’s worth of pictures
A picture post with very lil words. I get really lazy when there are too many pictures.
Word count: 314
ACE Society’s Ice-Breaking @ Sungai Gabai Waterfall

At the speed the both of us were walking at, it was not a surprise if we’ve caused a mini traffic behind

some of the guys with their mini tops

First to go, Pek Wee

I bet you can tell the temperature of the water from this picture

Here’s the natural slide which is my favourite part <3

Alwyn’s 21st

Stupid video. Watch it only if you have loads of time to spare.

This was (sort of) what we were trying to achieve.
Maison
Guess’ spokesperson

The only picture on the dance floor.

Look at Wengs’ stupid faces!

After not drinking for about half a year, my alcohol tolerance has deteriorated. Sad to say it wasn’t even good to begin with.
The thing that remained the same though, is my allergy towards alcohol

I.DON’T.KNOW.THEM

We then adjourned to Steven’s Corner where they served the best anything-with-cheese!

Kin Khan’s 21st

Min-Foong’s 21st

Alcohol brings people together

Kin Hung’s 21st
Being such fantabulous friends, we’ve decided to pay the future doctor who was stuck in Malacca a visit on his birthday eve.

Surprise! All credits go to the trophy wife, Ms Lore Yun Kei.

Boys and their toys. A big fraction of time went to American football which isn’t all that great actually.

They left me to play with my pretty turn-turn ladybird

Random

Look what I’ve found in my phone. Such camwhores tsk tsk
And this was when we were stuck in the lab for long hours…

It’s the prettiest experiment I’ve done in my whole course! Not to mention the smelliest too.
10 whole hours of inhaling kerosene and more to come.
I miss having chemistry in my life boo.

From abg kukulim
Monday 17/9

3rd year started off with Multicomponents Separation who is taught by a fantabulous Ph.D holder who has a much more fantabulous command of English. status as statoos, a as air, determine as determYne(?), cincai = =” and many many more, which I’ve learned to tolerate (I know my English not that good also la but I’m not the one giving a lecture in front of 100+ students).
And the other day I was having a meeting with Dr Hanson when she came in and started blabbering for quite some time. After she left,
“Do you have any idea what she’s saying?”
“Erm…not really.”
“Oh, thank god! I thought I was the only one who couldn’t! I was basically just guessing what she’s saying throughout the entire conversation.”
Anyhow, here’s the first batch of pictures of the last academic year!

my pumps are so cute right right?
Then in the evening, due to the horrible jam in Semenyih, we couldn’t make it to KLIA to send Chui San off. So we made our way to the latest shopping mall in Kajang, Metro Point!

Now there’s no need for me to go back Subang anymore on the 31st for Baskin Robbins. A big dilemma here, should I be sad? Or should I be happy?
Then, it’s KLIA to send Lynn and the coursemates off.

Jumpin’ shot.

Hahaha. Mana ShanK?

People are happier when they are 99% sure their double chins will not be shown in pictures.

These guys are so NOT strong cause Lynn fell down in the end

The 3 of us were trolley-ing for quite some time, running from McD to KFC with people staring

Seafield gang

You might think that Tony is leaving with all the hugs he’s getting. But the truth must be told; they are just gays who will still be in Malaysia.

Uni gang.

Unimates
This time, the atmosphere was totally opposite from the usual. Everyone was so happy and there wasn’t any crying scene.
Quote Joey, “It’s so weird because I’m so hyper right now, but I’m actually crying in the inside.”
ps Reached home safely(thank Buddha) in 15 minutes no thanks to Timothy.
Tuesday 18/9

Told you classes are that boring!
It’s also my first night staying in Semenyih after spending 8 hours(spread out over 2 days) to blardy clean my room.
Wednesday 19/9
-mental block- only remember sleeping in the computer lab.
Thursday 20/9
On a very very fine morning, a friend drove his/her car into a manhole. So the best idea(girls’ idea here mind you) is to gather the whole kampung(I think there were 15 of us) to help carry the car right? But all we needed were a couple of men, a wooden door and some metal stuffs to do the work. So the rest of us were just there cheering them on.

The hole beneath the wooden door.

The pros. I’ve also learnt to always pump my spare tyre.

Us shielding away from the scorchy sun. I hope that isn’t my tummy but just extra cloth T__T

This will be the only coursemate from UK in my whole 3 years of university life

Spotted wearing cute socks!
Don’t even wanna talk about Thursday night full stop.
Tuesday 25/9
It’s Mid Autumn Festival! As AlfredLoklok was craving for Kajang’s famous satay, Alwyn, Jason and I put aside our priorities (mine of course was going back to Subang la what else) just to accompany our poor friend
KL — Kajang — Semenyih — Uniten — Kajang — Semenyih — Subang. That’s about 150 km dei!
And Uniten is so huge! It’s like a town of it’s own. Signboards, buses, lake, mosque. Nottingham fails kau kau in comparison. They even need to take a bus to go from one class to another. And here I am complaining about the amount I need to walk from my car to class.
About midnight, a couple of us in Semenyih decided to take a stroll around the uni’s lake with our lanterns.

Wednesday 26/9
As Sonia will be leaving soon, we had a small lil PE3 gathering in Williams.

Thursday 27/9
Hohoho. Today I’ve managed to drag Hou Yang along to join the dance club! So now I’m in the dance and ace club! Let’s hope I’ll attend all those ballroom/hip hop/pop n lock/breakdance classes!
I’ve also received my design project! The introduction is so scaryfying; The final year design project represents the most challenging and extensive piece of project work that you have undertaken to date.
Sigh, it’s the only year I’m feeling so enthusiastic but with the heavy workloads I already have, guess I won’t be able to do much.
***
Won’t be blogging anymore. It’s only week 2 and everyone is already studying!
Group projects are the ultimate killer, with at least 3 hours of group meetings with our supervisors per week. Haven’t included meetings with group members
After the usual dinner and cake-cutting session in conjunction with mummy dear’s birthday, Lynn and I then made our way to Swensen’s for …

Zhao Heng’s big bang 21!
“..ok Zhao Heng, after cutting the cake, then we go… what? You dunno bout the cake?”

Not only has the ’surprise’ been unveiled, the strong wind just made it so blardy hard for us to keep the flames alive.

Look at KOHILAN and Zhao Heng bwahahaha

And this is for those who have the same problem as me

Here’s one of everyone. Even the photographer is in it.
Stole ONE picture and ONE sentence

Today has got to be the most pain I’ve encountered in the month of August!
-
Last night I was stuffing myself with loads of food to overcome the pain due to gastric. But today I found out it was a pre-menstrual pain instead. *swt*
-
Yenli’s theory – My muscles are weak (at least that’s how it feels) since I’ve rock climbed yesterday. Because of that, it’s also very prone to injury right? So when I did a u-turn today, I experienced that sudden painful muscle pull. No words can describe it okay. And I suspect it’s torn now since I can’t even open my room door without feeling the pull. T___T
-
5 bruises on the legs
And the highlights of my rather uneventful day are;
-
seeing Lauren for that very very short period of time and,
-
when the brother bought…

Love is Cinta original dvd!
It’s such a sad movie~! Will do a review soon cause I need to sleep badly. The end. I’ve just did an eat shit sleep post. Double boo.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
What do you think about this?

RM516. Should I splurge on it should I??? Josh has a friend who can get it from the states. But getting this baby would mean no shopping for a month~! Maybe 3 months without both shopping and food if everything goes well in UK. Won’t say anything just yet in case I jinx it. How now brown cow? Now I wish I’ve at least worked for a month or 2 during summer break
Yen’s Mum B’day Surprise
Hey there. Betcha can guess that i’m not yenli right from de title [really obvious, unless u're as blur as yours truly,
]. Anonymous Guest Blogger(AGB) here under duress from de true blogger *swt* A lack of pics can be discerned here, an oversight on my part. Had no idea “I” needed to blog any of this.
ABG’s POV:
Got a call from Yen asking if i was free. Turned out she needed a ride to Cake Sense to buy 2 b’day cakes for her mum & a fren. Not to mention my IC card as proof to get a 31% discount on de cake. Feelin used here…
LOL. JKJK It’s great that I’m able to help out
Waited ard 45 mins past de appointed time b4 we could finally set off. (Didn’t feel so great then…*swt*)
1st Stop (Cake Sense):
We could only choose from de display.

Fortunately there was quite a variety of choc types to pick from.

After much agonising, Yen finally decided to go wif the 2nd (Converture Chocolate) & 3rd (Costa Rica Chocolate) cakes from the left in de bottom row. De final decision on who gets which cake shall be left up to Yen’s mum. Smart move on Yen’s part. *thumbs up*
2nd Stop (Florist):
We dropped by a cheap looking florist in SS14. Yen wanted to give her mum a surprise at de office. So sweet… Yen wanted a dozen blood red doses for her mum. So romantic…
De illusion was shattered when de florist informed us it cost RM40 for a normal wrapping n RM60 for a fancy one. O.O Bloody EXP!!! RM20 xtra just for de special wrapping.
So in de end, Yen decided to go for 1/2 a dozen roses, specially wrapped for only RM35 (cheapskate, LOL).

A further RM9 was spent on an xtra heart deco n a card. (not so cheapskate, LOL)

For RM41 de bouquet looked pretty good, altho i’ve no right to judge. I haven’t bought any1 flowers since highschool days. We needed to bribe teachers back then for de xtra points
Unfortunately, viewers can’t judge either as i forgot to take de pic of de final outcome. (Oopsie on my part, sorry Yen) Hence u guys can only see de pics of de roses sans “special” wrapping above.
3rd Stop (De B’day Lady’s office):
When we reached de office, she was agonising over how to proceed. She wanted to just leave the flowers wif de receptionist so her mum wouldn’t know that she didn’t spend money on delivery, LOL.
Hence, Yen’s “brilliant” idea to make me pose as a delivery gal. I had my doubts. I was dressed in a sports jacket, racer-back, shorts n beach sandals. In other words, nothing like how a decent delivery gal should be dressed like.
When I rang de bell, yen’s mum’s colleague let me in. De plan was doomed as this fella saw yen in my car as we were deciding how to go abt de surprise. He wondered why Yen didn’t just go in herself to spring de surprise. He even tried to persuade her to deliver de surprise herself. Fortunately, it turns out her mum was in a meeting so Yen asked de colleague to leave it on de desk as a surprise wif special instructions to not disclose her presence here. I have my doubts on that too…
>>> All-in-all it was a worthwhile outing. “Almost” everything Yen set out to do was accomplished. LOL. Yen’ll have to be de judge of that. Hope i got everything right Yen. If not de Edit opiton’s always there.
<<ABG over & out>>
Shun’s 21st at Cafe Cafe
Hello. I’m Yenli wtf. Okay the ‘wtf’ gave it away. So I’m not Yenli after all. Unknown guest blogger dei. But you’re still going to read this post regardless of my identity,

Introductory picture. Let us proceed.

An hour late. While the other half of the attendees were famished, these people still had the nerve to camwhore.

Thank goodness the early birds had lush parisian furniture and romantic ambience as company.

Mirrors are our best friends. Yours too. Admit it.

9.56pm still don’t want to have dinner ar! Girls Ladies tsk.

Birthday girl and the men/boys/guys/androgynes I’m confused (chill la kidding only).

Titanic mantelpiece.

Lovers portrait wtf.

Everyone wants a turn with Shun!

Philosopher Kwong.

What better way to pass the time than to snap horrific ghostly photos of one another, with the toilet lamp. Clockwise from left: bebeghost, inasenghost, justaghost, pigighost (so cute lah wtf). Yes I’m amazed by how original I am too.

The beautiful birthday girl is twenty one.

You know how people learn not to make a fool out of themselves twice? Well, these two don’t. They’ve even managed to convert another to pose with brown things stuffed in their wide mouths. Makes you wonder what other brown things they’re capable of…er nevermind.

Spot 6 differences wtf.

No nasty comments here. In fact, this photo actually looks normal save for the lunar eclipse at the top right corner.

Poser shmosers. But classic nonetheless.

Houuu glam ar wtf. The cafe closes at 12am, yet they’re still practising narcissism at 12.10am.

We tried. Oops I meant they. I’m not in there.
All in all, the service was superb, and since the entire 1st floor was ours for the night, we had the perfect setting for the so-called amateur photoshoot. Frankly, the photos do little justice to the place itself. It had a vintage interior with crystals connected to threads hanging from the ceiling, reflecting the orange lighting to create a cosy yet plush atmosphere. And of course, we have to give credit to the birthday girl who went all out; and succeeded in stumbling upon the perfect little restaurant (snugged behind plants deliberately placed to shield its dark exterior and with no sign bearing its name) for a commemorable 21st birthday dinner. Who’d have ever thought the interior was palatial looking from the outside! Again, Happy 21st Birthday Lam Shun Chin girl
.
~The End~
wtf
