Another bad day at work
We got hit by a hailstorm so our system was down. Servers had to rewrite all the orders stored in the computer, total them up, take more new orders etc. Guests were coming in huge groups.
The best, I have a supervisor who loves to have a section but takes no table. So we have like this whole section of empty tables with 24 parties waiting to be seated.
“Hey Donnie. I have a party of 22 and I really really need to sit you right away because everyone else has a full section.”
“NO! I NEED TO DO THE SCHEDULE!”
Like wtf! He was doing it since 12pm and it’s not done when he had 6 hours to complete it.
Anyway he was really getting on my nerves and we ended up yelling and walking away from each other. Then, Tiffany scolded him too while I just stood in the server alley letting people walk in and out. I figured that if my supervisor is not going to do his job, neither am I.
Seriously, I was so pissed, I started crying. In the end, he took the party of 22! Wee I won wtf. But die later.
Actually loads of drama at my workplace but just didn’t have the time/too tired/too lazy to blog about it. But today I got sent home early by Donnie so yea to free time! Some more can watch So You Think You Can Dance. America’s version of course.
So much nicer than Malaysia’s one. My favourite so far is the hip-hop performance to Bleeding Love by Mark and Chelsie. Do check it out if you are super free (confirm cannot find in youtube. copyright shit again).
And that brings us back again to So You Think You Can Dance Malaysia version wakakaka. Now top 6 already leh! Since I’ve only watched the first episode, I couldn’t really say who’s good (or not). But I’m rooting for Cecilia aka CC, Black and Hong who were (and still are) my favourites from the first episode.

5th June 2008. It was the night before I left. Dinner @ TGIF, as usual.
It was very much less crowded than the last two times I was there though it was the start of the season. 20 groups of supporters also cannot fill the club. Less men more share. We managed to sit throughout the show and still not get blocked.

Alam, season 1 winner opened the show.

Our voices have been heard, the hostess has been changed! It’s Aishah from 8tv Breakie. Still needs some brushing up though.

Cecilia with don’t know what’s his name in a don’t-know-what-kind-of-hot-sizzling-ballroom-dance. However, this is her forte so no surprise there.

Chee Wei with contemp I think. Forgotten already cause pretty much forgettable.

Top 20

Yannus from afar *swoons*
Tralalal your bottom four are…

Billy the pasar malam dancer got voted off.

As you can see from the picture ![]()
I felt for her.
She said something like, “As most of you may know, I only managed to get into Top 40 last season. You have *sob* no idea *sob* how much I have been through *sob* throughout the *sob* year just to be here.”
So sad la seeing people’s dream shattered.

Yi Yang and Alam knew each other from Urban Groove I think. Can’t remember details.

Oh want to show you my bag. RM20 only from Bangkok. Can you see that I’m slightly tanned can you can you?

Exit club, stamped hand, entered club. Voila…one free drink! Perks of being a female. Guys can buy cheap susu.
Hola! Survived 23 days in the states woots! Have been a slave to the theme park with only 2 days off so far which was well spent doing groceries shopping. Want to blog properly also no time. Quote Liu Hua, “At this rate, it’s no longer called ‘work’. It’s slavery. Servitude. Emancipation.”
Frankly speaking, have been enjoying myself over here la. Although every freaking morning I feel like going back home.

Just saw pictures from Les Mills launch ![]()
Can’t believe I have missed it! Combat, Jam le sigh…
By the time I’m home it will be another release…that means I won’t even have a chance to try it kadsh.
Bye. Work starts in 9 minutes!
